Refund & Exchange Policy

At Maddy Electronics, we are committed to providing high-quality products and excellent customer service. However, in rare cases, you may receive damaged or missing items. This policy explains the process for refunds and exchanges.
1. Refund & Exchange Policy Overview
Validity: Refunds and exchanges are valid for 2 days from the date of delivery.
Process Duration: If eligible, the refund or exchange process will take 4–5 business days.
Requirement: An unboxing video must be provided within 12–18 hours of receiving the product. The video should clearly show the original label with name and barcode and must be recorded before opening the box.
Important Notes
If the unboxing video is recorded after opening the original packaging, it will be rejected, and we are not responsible for any loss. If the box appears damaged or open upon delivery, a proper video of the delivery person while receiving the package is required. Refunds are only provided for missing items, while damaged or not working products are only eligible for exchange.
2. Refund Process (If Applicable)
After receiving and reviewing the unboxing video, we will notify you regarding approval or rejection of the refund with a valid reason. If approved, our team will contact you to request your bank or payment details, and the refund will be processed within 4–5 business days. Refunds are only issued for missing items, not for damaged or defective ones.
3. Exchange Process (If Applicable)
Damaged Products
The items must be packed safely in their original packaging. If a return label is provided, it should be pasted securely with transparent cello tape; otherwise, the product should be handed over to the pickup agent in its original packing.
Not Working Products
The process for not working products is the same as for damaged ones, requiring safe packaging and handover.
Process Timeline
The exchange timeline includes reverse pickup and delivery, which together take approximately 10–11 days. Once the product is received, our team will verify that it is genuine and originally purchased from us. If verified, a replacement will be shipped; otherwise, the exchange will be rejected with valid reasons.
Exchange Value Rules
For items valued below ₹99, the replacement will be included in your next order. For items valued above ₹99, the replacement will be shipped as a separate exchange. Refunds are not provided for damaged or not working products.
4. Order Cancellation
If an order is cancelled within 4–5 hours, a full refund will be processed within 4–5 business days. Cancellations made after 4–5 hours will incur a ₹29 fee. Orders that have been packed or dispatched cannot be cancelled. Cancellation requests must be made via WhatsApp chat, the provided contact number, or the “Click Here” option.
5. Undelivered Orders (RTO – Return to Origin)
Due to Customer Error
Re-delivery will be attempted only for prepaid orders, while Cash on Delivery orders will not be reshipped. If re-delivery fails, prepaid orders will be refunded after deducting delivery and return charges (₹69 + ₹69). COD orders are not shipped again.
Due to Delivery Partner Error
Only prepaid orders qualify for a full refund or re-shipping, depending on the customer’s choice. Cash on Delivery orders are not reshipped.
6. Late or Missing Refunds
If a refund is not received, customers should first check their bank account, then contact their UPI app customer care, and finally reach out to their bank for potential delays. If the issue persists, contact us directly.
7. Sale Items
Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items are non-refundable.
8. Gift Items
Items marked as gifts during purchase are not eligible for refunds or exchanges, even if they are defective.
