The TP5100 is a versatile and efficient lithium battery management chip designed for charging a single lithium-ion cell or two lithium-ion cells in series. It is ideal for applications requiring a compact and reliable charging solution for lithium-ion batteries.

  • Dual-Cell and Single-Cell Charging: Capable of charging dual-cell 8.4V or single-cell 4.2V lithium-ion batteries.
  • Wide Input Voltage Range: Accepts input voltage from 5V to 15V DC.
  • High Switching Frequency: Operates at a switching frequency of 400kHz.
  • LED Indicators:
    • Red LED: Indicates charging status.
    • Blue LED: Indicates full charge or no battery.
    • Both LEDs Off: Indicates very low VIN or high-temperature shutdown.
